Manage your network

Companies you advise

Track the companies you support — their needs, your role, key contacts, documents, and an AI relationship snapshot.

A company record holds a description, stage, current needs (hiring, customers, fundraising or partnerships), your advisory role, and a point of contact. It also shows linked contacts and their roles, a relationship snapshot, an AI relationship analysis, and attached documents you can upload, download or delete. The needs you record feed directly into introduction matching and intro opportunities.

Why companies matter

Companies are the other half of an introduction. When you record the companies you advise — and what each one needs — NetworkOS can match those needs against the people in your network and surface intro opportunities. They're also where you keep everything you know about each relationship in one place.

Adding a company

When you add a company, you can capture:

  • What it does — name, website, and a description.
  • Stage — where it is in its journey (seed, Series A, and so on).
  • Current needs — hiring, customers, fundraising, partnerships, operations — so matches and intros target the right thing.
  • Your role — advisor, board member, investor — to clarify the relationship.
  • A point of contact — pick an existing contact or add one, so you always know who to reach.

You can update any of this as the company evolves.

Company contacts

Each company shows the people in your network connected to it, with their relationship role (point of contact, employee, investor, and so on). Link or unlink contacts to keep the picture accurate.

Snapshot and AI analysis

A relationship snapshot aggregates your engagement with a company — top contacts, how often you interact, and overall health. You can also run an AI analysis that reads the relationship and returns a short written assessment to help you decide where to focus.

Documents

Attach documents to a company — term sheets, decks, summaries, cap tables — by uploading them with a type and description. They're stored securely and available to download when you need them, and you can remove any document later.

Common questions

Why should I fill in a company's needs?
Needs are what introduction matching runs on. Recording that a company is hiring, looking for customers, fundraising or seeking partnerships is what lets NetworkOS surface people in your network who fit, both in intro opportunities and when you ask for recommendations. A company with no needs recorded will not generate matches.
Can I attach documents to a company?
Yes. Each company record holds attached documents that you can upload, download and delete, so decks, memos and notes live alongside the rest of the context on that company.
What is the AI relationship analysis?
It is a generated summary of how you and the company are connected — who you know there, how strong those relationships are, and what the current state of the engagement looks like — so you can pick up context quickly without reading through every linked contact.
